Default Carb Sync Help

98 F3. Not sure where to connect my sync tool. Anyone got some pictures or detailed directions to locate them?

Just below the carbs, there are some little tubes with rubber caps on the headers.
That's where you hook up the guages. The #1 cylinder has a bolt INSTEAD of the
tube...What was Honda thinking!? You can get an extra port tube for about $5 at the dealership, it's the 5mm version.

below the carbs meaning closer to the battery or straight down from like sky to ground? I have a tube so no worries on that. Also by tubes im assuming metal lines not rubber correct?

the carb synch lines go into little whole directly underneath each carb port (where the carberator connects to the engine).

The number 1 cylendar requires you screw an adapter into it before you can put a hose into it.

let me know if you still struggle and i can take some more pics.

Here is another pic for you, showing all four connectors, simply pull off the rubber covers and then push the tubes for your balancer onto them, the No1 is a threaded one that screws in like Madhattr said.

I recommend a pair of very long nose pliers for getting to them, they are a royal pain in the ****! I bought some U.S. Tools pliers with 12" handles specificially for doing this job!
