Hi All,
I've been very busy lately and the bike is running great, so I haven't been around here lately. Here are some pictures of my latest mod. I installed some new mirrors with integrated turn signals. Then I completely removed my stock signals, then put a screen behind the holes, then put Bondo over it, sand, paint... and done! I think it looks a LOT cleaner. My next project will be to shave the rear fender and tuck the license plate and install some smaller rear signals.

The new front signals are not very bright in the daytime and they flash fast, but they were only $50.

Sweet, I was waiting for a pic of mirrors with integrated turn signals. They look great man. Now Im going to buy some. Were those the ones on ebay?

 

Wow, really nice bike. There aren't many non stock paint schemes that I've liked. This is really nice. I'm not a fan of those mirrors. They are smaller and closer in. I sat on a bike yesterday and all I could see were my arms. You're right, the signals are not very visible. I tend to lean toward the safety side. Great looking bike though.

 

Yes, but I had some issues getting them. The seller will NOT respond when you contact throught ebay notification. He lists his personal email in the ad. I think it's cbrmike@... The first set I got had a slightly warped right mirror around the edges. I sentjust that one mirrorback and he sent me a replacement pair, this time the left mirror was warped... but I got a good right one. Not high quality at all, but functional and I got to get rid of my front signals off the farings.[8D]
