my front tire wobbles, i changed wheel bearings, my back tire wears alot more on the left side , and when i changed wheel bearings in the front the same side (right) was the bearing that was bad. any clues on what i should do next???? thanx

 

The bearings are old in these things. I usually change out both side when replacing the bearings... couldn't tell if you were just changing out the bad one. I myself have gone through 3 front and 2 rear sets. They are pretty inexpensive, like $7 to $10. If you are going through a pair in a summer, then there is something else wrong.

 

i do replace them in pairs but only one of them are bad when i replace them. and its always the same side bearing that is bad, the wheel spacers on the front wheel one of them is wider than the other what side does the wider one go on? DOSE ANYONE KNOW WHERE TO GET CBR F3 FORKS FOR A GOOD PRICE NEW/USED AS LONG AS THEY ARE STRAIGHT?

 

The wobble could be from the tire not being fully seated on the rim or a bent rotor grabbing and releasing as the wheel spins.

I am sure you have the rim balanced so thats not the problem.

How old is the tire?

You could have belt separation inside the tire itself causing the wobble.

I had a fairly new Avon rear radial on my Honda GL1800 Goldwing seperate on me while we were 300 miles from home and a separation will cause a wobble!

If it is a slipped belt take it back to where you purchased it and they should pro rate the tire or give you a new one at no charge.

You did not state which fork is bent, but it does not really matter both fork tubes are the same, I found this one on Ebay.

It's the left fork for the F3 with a buy it now price of $40.00 bucks.

Just take the tube and guts out of this ebay fork and swap out your bent fork tube.

Seller says it's bent.

 

I've been wondering if I have bent fork(s) or not. My problem is that when my wheel is straight, my right clipon is closer to the gas tank than my left one and the left one is more forward. To add, the ignition chamber doesn't lie center with the center of the guage cluster when the wheel is straight.

Does this mean my fork(s) are bent? Or could it be the triple clamps? How can I find out?

Oh, and I think I noticed this more clearly when I went down at 60MPH on the right side. And the clipons are not bent and are centered in the notches on the clamps.
