Default Bent left fork

I just bought an f4i 3 weeks ago and I ordered some new parts for the bike. When I was fitting a new front fender, none of the holes lined up. The fender would fit crooked to the tire. We measured everything to see if the forks were bent. Everything thing was fine until we measured the wheel base. the left side is half inch shorter that the right. So after really careful examination of the forks, we found that the left one is bent. Now I need forks. When I test rode the bike it went straight and the tire looked straight but I guess I got taken for a fool. Thank god I didnt ride it yet. About how much are some brand new forks?

No need for new. You can find tons of them on eBay. Or if you're gangsta, get a new upper tube and change the springs and valving while you're in there. The upper tube is the only part that bends, and possibly the rods.
