i finally got all of my other problems fixed with my fuel system....got the bike up and running all put back together and the battery died. i thought since i had killed it a couple of times that the battery was now bad. so i charged it up and gave it some tests. its oaround 13 volts before i start it and stays around there for awhile. if i hit the brakes it immediately drops down .1 volts. rev the bike up and barely moves at all. the last time i did it and shut it off it was around 12.4 after a few minutes i checked it again and it was at 12.8. so i went and pulled the plug on the r/r and it was flaming hot and 3 of the 5 plugs were burnt. i maybe had the bike running 3-5 minutes. i obviously know the plugs shouldn't be burnt, but should the r/r get that hot in that little amount of time? what do you all think??

DO THE CONVERSION!!!!
I just did mine a few hours ago. Amazing....
With the stock r/r it would basically be at battery voltage while idling, then hit 13v about 2500rpm, and 14v about 4000rpm. Now, at idle it sits at 14.5v and stays there the whole rpm range.
One of the best mods I have ever done.
