I just bought a 96 CBR and i dont knwo how to get to the battery so i can charge it. I called a local shop and said that it is two bolts behind the back seat but those bolt only looked like they were holding the fairings. Please help me remove my seat so i can get my battery charge and get it running again. email me at toohektic18@yahoo.com or leave a reply.

 

- remove side tail fairings
- remove seat
- remove battery cover
- remove battery

 

really i believe all you have to do is remove the seat....then there is a cover over the battery with i believe two well seen bolts. Unscrew those two and off if comes. You'll see the battery right away. need any more help i can take some pics of mine for you

 

Thanks. It was a pain but i got it. You have to take off the side fairing and then the seat.
