Default Battery for 1998 CBR600F3

Having largely got past the carb issues with the help of this forum, we now need a new battery. However, I'm finding mixed messages about battery type on the internet: both the code number for the size and, of course, the various sorts you can buy nowadays. We want a 'budget battery' with a reasonably long warrantee (in UK). I'm hoping for under £50. Buying a car battery seems so simple by comparison and you'd always expect to get at least 4 years warrantee now. All I'm seeing for bike batteries is 1 or at best 2 years. Anybody got any suggestions, please?

Thanks, that’s looking hopeful. I’ve good experience with Yuasa. The Amazon or eBay price is £20 cheaper than the Yuasa site!

unfortunately, for some reason, manufacturers do not offer much of a warranty on motorcycle batteries. I’m really not sure why that is.
