Default Bad black box

Just bought a motor for my bike and i had a question about the icm(black box). How do you tell if they go bad? I put new spark plugs in.new wires, new coils. Spark is whitish-yellow color.

I don't think that there's a way to tell visually that it's bad. Under normal wear and tear I think it would last many years. If it's been submerged in a flood, or had a significant impact from lets say an accident, or fire then it's probably not going to work. As far as testing, it has to be on the bike. Easiest way would be to put it on a known good bike and see if the bike runs with it on.

I would check the plugs at the rectifier, or stator first. It could even be a bad battery or fuse.

So, what's the status ? Are you saying that it's fixed ? Have you replaced the ICM ?
