Aftermarket Plastics - Gas tank?

Aftermarket Plastics - Gas tank?
Alright, long story short, last year I dropped my bike. Nothing bad, I wasn't going any faster than about 5mph and I was on grass. Wet grass. Hence why it fell over.
But it still royally screwed up my plastics in the front - the side of the nose fairing, the front of the left side fairing and the maintenance cover on that side all ended up shattered/cracked.
So basically I figured it would be cheapest and easiest to buy a whole new set of plastics from Auctmarts, as people have told me they're the best of the China plastics. This is my first bike, and as much as I love it I don't want to spend much on this, considering I bought the bike for $2,500.
However, the plastics available from Auctmarts do not much my stock colors, which would be perfectly fine if not for the issue of the gas tank. I would like the tank to match the bike, and I'm not willing to use one of those crappy tank covers.
So...what are my options? I heard I can get the tank painted for about $100, which wouldn't be too bad. Even if I had to get it just the flat base color to match the plastics then stick on a few vinyl decals to make it match I would be fine with that.
Or I could have the tank painted completely to match...would that be more expensive?
Do I have any other options?

That looks great, but I would probably also need to get a spray gun for that right?
Cuz I don't have one. I also don't have anyplace to do it, and I also know nothing about painting.
Honestly after I bought a sprayer, paint, clear coat and anything miscellaneous I might need to do that, I'd be close or over $100 anyway. Plus I'd have to find somewhere to do it and take the time to learn how.
I'd rather just pay someone else $100 to get it done and over with.
So other than having someone paint it or painting it myself, do I have any other options, or are those the only two?
