ARRRRGGGGHHH Bad luck
So i guess the anxiousness of riding in such good weather today has caused me to over look some things on my bike so today was just a bad day for me... My exhaust hanger vibrated off and my exhaust fell while riding and my front fender broke, i have no idea how but it ended up getting caught on my wheel and i crushed it while riding
And finally, the Zip tie that held my shock canister (which held on for years, i dunno why now) gave out and my res got caught in my swing arm, Before i slowed down, my exhaust burned off some of that plastic line so there was OIL everywhere...
FML
luckily this happend AFTER i ordered my new shock which should be delivered monday.
my question is my bike still feels firm on the shock and its my main mode of transport now. If i patch that line, can i still ride it? at least til my new shock comes in which is monday. I planned a semi long trip for tomorrow
And finally, the Zip tie that held my shock canister (which held on for years, i dunno why now) gave out and my res got caught in my swing arm, Before i slowed down, my exhaust burned off some of that plastic line so there was OIL everywhere...

Thats some serious bad luck dude!!
I had a simmilar thing where my muffler came off its top braket, where it joins the pillion stand, and it fell down and scratched the swingarm nasty.
But that was because I had been a noob and not tightend the nut and bolt enough, just finger tight.
Lost my tax disk with it somwhere along the road also, that was a nightmare to get back.
Wouldnt trust it for a long(ish) ride, get the new shock and you will be pleased you waited.
