Default Anyone have a write-up for chopping / cutting an exhaust down

Looking to chop my yoshi carbon rs-3 slip-on down to 10-12 inches this winter and I was wondering if anyone had any experience in doing so. A write up would be nice, but might not be needed. As far as I know all thats needs to be done is drill out the rivets on the bottom of the can where it attaches to the mid pipe, take a hacksaw and chop off the desired length, then rivet the bottom cap back on. I'm not quite sure what to do with the baffles, cut them, or take them out. Any input would be appreciated!

Just use a pencil grinder with a grinding wheel and cut off to what ever length you want. Drill out the rivets of one end and try cutting high up for a test and then go to town on the desired length. Drill out your new holes and rivet it back together. I recommend using some baffling when you put it back together because mine has non and it's annoyingly loud!
