So I plan on cutting down my pipe today and was wondering if there is any problem with using aluminum rivets as opposed to ss rivets? I was looking for ss but could only find 1/8" which is pretty small so I ended up going with 3/16" aluminum. Any issues with using these? Thanks

Thats what I plan on using when I finish mine. I would have finished it last night if my drill bit didn't break on the 2nd rivet. By the time I had it drilled and cut I was too tired to finish mine.

 

I used aluminum on mine. No problems as of now so I guess it will be fine. Post pics for sure.
