Default anyone ever had a cylinder stop firing

my #4 cylinder is not firing for some reason. its not the ingnition coils. tried extra pair that i have and its not the plug. only thing i can think of is maybe carb is not clean. i took the back of the bowl off and cleaned it still not working. dont know what it could be. im thinking maybe i need to take the carbs apart and try cleaning it that way. ive never done it before. wanted to get some info on it and ideas. if anyone has a thread about taking the carbs apart that would be cool.

did you check the spark plug? it could be something that simple. if you did check it, what did it look like? "reading" the plug will point you in the right direction. also, make sue you compression is good in that cylinder.

its not getting any gas. i tested the plug and coil working fine. it starts and runs rough. the other three exhaust headers are getting hot fast and the number 4 is cold. i took the plug out after it was started and it bone dry. so i took the carbs apart and im soaking the #4 over night in some cleaner. we will see. i didnt find any jets clogged. im hoping maybe the float was stuck closed for some reason. hard to see why i ran it 3 seperate times and each time the same. any info you guys would have would be cool

do a compression check, especially if you dont find anything wrong with the carb. no compression--->no vacuum--->wont suck fuel in. you can put your hand over that carb while its running and see if you have suction. just an idea...

whew...good sign.

the only thing it can be is spark through the plug or carb. you said you are getting spark all of the way there, so that leaves carb.
