Hey, I just recently picked up a 1996 CBR600 with 44k miles. Bike was well taken care of and engine sounded great up til this weekend.

The sound is a soft ticking at idle, and may slightly increase with revs. But once I get the bike above 3k+ the engine drowns out the ticking for the most part. The engine still sounds great revving/accelerating etc, and the bike has been "stumbling" under 1/4-1/2 throttle when pulling away in 1st sometimes.

This sound like the CCT is bad?
Any recomendations for carb cleaning?

I won't be able to look at the bike again for a week, but am thinking about buying the CCTm anyways, its a good reliabilty mod for the bike when I get back home. Let me know what you guys think?
