Default Another question (rear bottom fairing)

I think it is the rear bottom one. Looks like a chain guard and has all the info like oil, etc... printed on it. Is there a downfall to removing this? I have seen some pictures on here with the stock fairings and that removed and it (personally) made the bike look a little cleaner.

you mean the one over the rear tire? my bike didnt have one when I got it, probably didnt fit over the 180/55 rear tire. Just make sure you do something with the rear brake line or itll rub the tire. I also dont have a chain guard which makes for a mess when I lube the chain.

Do you guys you a Grunge Brush when doing your lube on the chain? I have never actually done a chain lube before and am going to give it a try tomorrow when I change my brakes, and doing and oil change.
