i dont see any burn marks on it, but it doesn't haven't continuity going through it. i was riding it a few weeks ago and it quit running. like it ran out of fuel. i thought it was the fuel pump, but after i switched it out to a new one it still didnt work. i checked the relay and it was bad. this is the 3rd one i have bought for it. i know that when i replaced the second one it seemed to fix it, but it only lasted for about a month.

that indicates an electrical problem somewhere else on the bike that you need to address.
things needed to figure this out yourself: wiring diagram for your bike, multimeter, some patience, potentially some solder, and watertight shrinkwrap or the like.
Using the wire diagram, and multimeter, locate the wires that go to the relay, inspect them for damage visually first, then check for continuity at each connecting point. while you're in that mode, I'd say it may be just a loose/dirty connection, so check the connections and clean them a little with some contact cleaner.
