Hi guys. Just put in some aliuminium mesh and thought i post some pics and a how-to:
What i used:
a. Aliuminium mesh diamond shape(bought it in car modding shop)
b. Some Pliers and side cutters
c. Some Zip ties
d. Some Epoxy
How-to:
1.Cut off a piece of aluminium mesh just slightly biger then side cover opening(there are two openings in service cover on F3, so you'll need 2 pieces of mesh for each side)
2.Put it against the plastic cover from the inside and trim the mesh so you have only about 1/2" of extra mesh around the openig thet you are trying to cover.
3.Now bend the extra mesh around the opening by pressing on it with your fingers to give it shape.
4.Zip tie the mesh in few places to keep it secure in place.
5.Now apply some epoxy in a few places.
6.Let it dry and set.Now cut All zip ties and reinstall the plastic cover.
P.S.aliuminium mesh that i used had particular patern, so just make sure all the mesh is installed same way.
