If anyone has put some sort of external vent on their tank, I would like to see it. I'm curious what others have done.

When I sealed my gas tank I ended up sealing right over the factory vent so I had to rig something up. I ended up just drilling a tiny hole in under the lid and then later fit a small hose in it to stop the gas from splashing out under hard braking. It's ghetto, but been working great for over a year now.

 

So, you went through the cap? I was thinking of that. First on my mind was the danger of drilling on the tank and this would avoid that.

I ended up drilling a small hole right above the overflow in the filler area. I was paranoid so I flooded the tank with Argon while I was drilling on it. Overkill I'm sure, but I've got a bunch of excess Argon.

If you have a pic of your vent tube that would be cool.
