Default Is aftermarket clutch cover gasket safe?

I am trying to find a gasket to replace clutch cover and all I seem to find is aftermarket. Are these safe?

I dont see why it wouldnt. Look through the manual and see if it recommends a very very light coat of gasket adhesive on either or both sides of the gasket.

that gasket will work. but its really a one time use unless you take the cover of within a few days, and why buy a new gasket every time you take your clutch cover off when you can just use some rtv on it.

Unless you're racing, how often does a clutch cover need to come off?

When the clutch cover has corrosion it needs to come off.

just depends, theyre old bikes, if the clutch/springs go out, if youve got a bent shift fork or worn out shift drum the covers would need to come off.
but no matter what, id rather spend $5 on a tube of rtv that'll seal the cover 100 times over, than to spend $10 any time i take the cover off.
