How would the taller profile help handling
?

Better feedback through a larger contact patch. On the racebike I sometimes use a 125 front with a 165 rear.
That's wider than the stock 120 and 160. My question was about going taller, from 120/60 to 120/70. The taller profile wouldgive you a larger contact patch at full lean, but smaller when the bike is straight up, right?

The slicks I use on the racebike are designed for 250 GP bikes (not the Apirlia Cup bikes, the REAL 250s).The contact patch when leaned over is incredible. The tires themselves aren't wider. They are taller, creating more contact patch when leaned over.

A120/70 will be fine.My bet is you'll like them better than 120/60.

Better drop the front forks a bit if you go with a 120/70.

You don't have to I did but that was for a different reason. The only thing you need to do is raise the fender up alittle to prevent the front from rubbing but the rear fender will rub.
