Default 98 F3 tire

Hi i purchased a 1998 CBR f3 and The front rim was dented so I ordered a new rim off of Ebay.
but I had a question this rim doesnt have tire dimensions or anything on it. what size tire do I put on this rim? this rim was also taken off a CBR 95-98 doesnt say specifically what year.

It's a 120/60/17...do they even make a 120/55?

should be a 120/60 but you can fit a 120/70-17 which will help with the handling of the bike.

the tire size is 120 -55-17
120/70/17 You're thinking 180/55/17 which is the F4->RR rear tire

How would the taller profile help handling? I'm guessing the bike would fall into the turn easier, but lose some stability.

it does fall into corners more easily and I never had a problem with stability with it but it does increase the feed back you get from the front of the bike alot. I loved it.

Better feedback through a larger contact patch. On the racebike I sometimes use a 125 front with a 165 rear.
