hey guys im new to the site. I just picked up today a 97 cbr600 f3. I dont know to much about biek other than a got it from a kids father who was sellling it for son. Bike is semi taken apart. All plastics are off andalot of the electronics have been removed. I got two sets of plastics with the bike. Both sets have damaged parts, so im proably going to be mixing sets to get one complete set and paint the whole thing. Needs a bunch of new part but im not totally sure yet being i just got it today and haven really teared into it yet. Im a average mechanic cant really do all that much luckily have a friend who works at bike shop who will be helping me with rebuild. Any advice, i will hopefully be gettign to work soon and will post updates.

 

Welcome to the world of F3s! Advise...get a Clymer manual immediatelly, and then sell me one of the two RH front uppers. I'm looking for one that isn't in the best of conditions but still workable.

Another nice tool would be front and rear bike stands.
