Default Hello - jon with a damaged blackbird

Hi there. I have recently bought an 05 blackbird with a few problems. It has had a fairly heavy accident, but the frame and forks are fine, as are clocks, and a very nice stainless/carbon fibre akropovik 4-2-1. The engine should be fine too, except that the crank is bent a couple of mm at the flywheel. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello Jon :-)

Welcome to CBRF ... sorry to hear about the Blackbird, I really don't like the sound of the crank being bent even if only at the flywheel
... that could be hard to fix without removal I would have thought ...maybe someone much more knowledgeable than I can
help ... anyway good luck with it and keep us all informed :-)

Take care

Jules :-)

Thanks for the welcome and for the links - will check them further tonight. I think I have a fair road of challenges ahead of me with this one, and nice to know I am with friends.
