96 and 97 heads

Are the 96 and 97 cylinder heads interchangeable

They have different part numbers so there is a difference. I don’t know what those differences are though. It could be possible to make it work potentially but I don’t know for sure.

The head gasket fits many of the models, certainly all the F3's. I suspect that Hamlin6 is right that it would work.
