Hi Guys, can any one tell me the difference between the OEM 97 CBF600F3 muffler (18310-MAL-A00) and the OEM 96 Muffler (18310-MAL-602).

Will a 96 Fit a 97 ?

 

AFAIK, they should be the same, there was some cosmetic changes and a few mechanical (deeper oil pan & revised head along with some ignition tweaks) between the 95-96 & 97-98 bikes but nothing that would suggest that the exhaust was different, could be the fact that the head was revised that caused the roll in part number for the exhaust
