Hey guys!

Thought I had already signed for the forum, but apparently no.

So I bought this lady a couple of months ago, it has been running like a champ, until.......yesterday, rainy day and it fired up right away. Let it run to warm up, and I completely forgot to turn choke off (looking for stuff inside the car). Bike turned off and would not start again. Worth to mention that I had gas and tried turning the petcock from on to res and back to on and off and res.
So sadly I had to drive to work .

Got back, checked battery, 100% charged. Installed it again and no go.
Bike cranks and no good. If I tried to push start it, it seems like it starts, but not the usual engine turning over noise, sounds like a quieter version.
On my way to get a spark plug socket and some new spark plugs, just to make sure. Supposedly the ones installed have less than 500 miles.

If you have any ideas please share them!

 

Could just be the plugs are dirty and wet, maybe the clean plugs will start the engine , but either way a good clean of the carb jets will be needed

Problem was solved, found fuel line cracked from tank to fuel pump. Replaced that and the spark plugs. Runs like a champ again.

 

Put iridims in it and you won't have to worry about them for ATLEAST 100,000 miles and they ain't that much more!!!
