Default 95 f3 sputtering

back in October I was riding my bike daily with no issues. Earlier I had a stator and rectifier go out and I replaced them in early September. My bike ran great until I found my bike sputtering when I was cruising down the interstate at about 60 mph and I got off the exit and check it out. It would idle fine I could rev it to red line no problem. But when I put it in gear and go through 1st gear to 8K rpm I shift to second and when I hit about 4k rpm it sputters. I have replaced the spark plugs, replaced my fuel line. I haven't checked my carbs and I'm looking at the fuel filter tomorrow. Any ideas before I take my carbs to the shop.

dont believe the 95 had the ram air setup. So thats out. Only thing I can think of is with your carbs. A leak at the boot, jet(s) dirty, other adjustments.

maybe try bypassing the low-speed intake?

Mine was hooked up correctly, but missing pieces .. I decided to bypass it and have had no problems.

I had a fuse blow on me while I was cruising ~60, and it also happened to control the air solenoid. Same symptoms you're describing.
