So I recently picked up a 97 600f3 and guy said it ran over a month ago and showed me videos then he said it stopped running and I immediately thought ok maybe a carb clean and should be good to go then realized the fuel pump was bad so replace so that still wasn’t starting so I did normal check on the bike checked for spark I have spark check to make sure I’m getting fuel I’m getting fuel checked all the hoses there all good checked all the wiring and fuses and everything is in tack so I’m kinda lost here any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated thank you

 

Hey there. Is it trying to start? Does it sputter or anything?
Also, the fuel pump doesn’t do anything until the bike is running. There is a simple way to test to see if it’s functioning.

 

so when I try and start it and it starts cranking then it started spitting flames and loud noises kind of like a 2 step
