Won’t go in gear

Ok, I just looked over the wiring schematic.
Kickstand switch has 3 wires - Dark green, Yellow/black, Green/white.
When the Dark green & Yellow/black pair are connected (kickstand down), it turns on the kickstand dash light.
When the Dark green & Green/white pair are connected (kickstand up), it tells the ignition module 'kickstand is up' or 'Run in gear'.
So if there's a problem Dark green & Green/white wires or that connection in the kickstand switch
you could get a kickstand dash light that works, but a bike that won't run when in gear.
You need to check both sides (up and down continuity) of the kickstand switch.
And also trace the Green/white wire for breaks/shorts.
