Wobble from new tire
Just got a new Tire put on the front, and it has a up and down wobble, almost like its out of balance. It doesnt really get worse with braking, and is kind of hairy at higher speeds.. any help would be appreciated.
Any other suggestions that could cause this? it didnt happen with the old tire. (i also put the correct 120/60/17 on instead of the 120/70/17 that was on it before.

Double check air pressure.
Double check whether it was spin-balanced.
Check it for a core falure...a tire bulge or bubble.
Even new tires can have defects.
It's pretty hard to mount the wheel incorrectly, but you might scope it out, to be sure.
Is the bead even on the rim?
Hope this helps, Ern

Turns out the tire was NFG and had a flatspot.. They didn't have any replacements, so they gave me a better tire for no extra cost!
I knew all those tire weights on there were no right...
Time for a ride, to make sure the bike is still fun to ride..
