Wiring For The Taillight HELP!!!
Ok I need help, i just got my bike one week ago i got one heck of a deal and yes it is a fixxer upper but not that bad just BODY WORK , well right now im trying to get the taillight to work right , it lights up but only on the right side , it dont get brighter when i hit the brake and the left side dont light up at all , oh yeah i have a clear led tailight the last owner had put it on and has the wiring all messed up sum wires dont even match up and sum are not even connected and there is a BUTT load of tape on it LOL so i need help finding out how to wire the thing up correctly, PLZ help P.S I can email pics of what it looks like as far as the wiring looks like on it right now , i would put the pics on here but they are to big. Errr
Ok i got it all to light up but now the blinker still dont work on the left side and the brake dont light up brighter like it should when i hit the front or rear brake Hmmmmm.... very odd... HELP ME... Im gonna get pulled over LOL
Here's the only way I know of to figure out mystery wires.
Step 1 -- remove the taillight -- go through the wires with a battery and see what lights up. Label the wires.
Step 2 -- go through all of the bike wires with a volt meter and label. Example: turn the left blinker on and test the wires until you find one that has 12V going on and off. Label the wires.
Reconnect and you're done.

THANK alot man well i did all that and turned out to be a REALY bad wire in all the mess , but i got it figured out and now i dont have to worrie about gettin CRAP from the Police... LoL THX again ..
