I am pretty sure I have (had) the same purple and yellow as you, im currently repainting mine, the thread is above ^^^ Personally im not a huge fan of flat black on bikes, I would rather leave flat black for cars/suvs. But its not my bike so its your call. I have a Two Brothers slip on,I have no idea what I could get for it, I have been looking for something different.
I also have the same scheme as both of you guys, black/purple/yellow and am painting mine satin black. Actually I'm done most of the fairings now and only have front/rear wheel fenders and the gas tank to do. Even at this stage satin black looks fantastic. Here is a sample, I think this is final black but no clear:

How do you like your Two Brothers exhaust? Mine has stock right now and I am looking for an aftermarket.

That black is looking pretty good. I think I may be going for the same effect. Are you planning on putting any vinyls on? I think I'd like to put either white or orange vinyls in the same places as the stock ones when I'm done. It's still pretty far up in the air at this point [:'(]

Actually I was leaning towards orange logos for starters, but I'm not in too much of a rush to do it. I'll probably leave it plain black for a while.

Will do, I've been meaning to post some updates of in progress pics and take some of the completed fairings. Mostly been rainy weather here though, not so great for bike pics.
Here is what I was thinking of for decals (somebody else's bike):

I like the Two bros slip on but it sounds like its a 4 stroke 4 wheeler at times. But it can sound pretty good too. I cant compare it to much other than my buddies Yoshi slip on on his 05 600 RR... WOW... sounds amazing!

are your fairings in good shape????? if so do notttt strip them, you could sell them online and buy already primered ones and make money even after the painting to put towards the exhaust

OEM colored fairings go for a sh!tt ton on ebay, if there not in good shape.... strip away
