Dont those come with a 160? If so, why would you want to put a wider tire on it? For looks I know. For performance, you will gain nothing and lose plenty. I'm gonna guess that Honda spent more money than we'll ever see determining correct tire sizes for motorcycles. You wanna out guess them?

maybe for a little bit more traction but i dont want to hurt handling in the process. theres a few more things done to it than a stock f2 has see signature
as of right now it handles fine but when i get on it past 9500 the tire spins in first second and third if the tire is cold

Dude, any tire spins cold, dont care what it is, and going to a 180 wouldnt give you a more real contact patch.
Your bike probably already doesnt handle as good as it should with a 170 on there, and a bigger tire would not only be unsafe but would make it handle even worse.
My advise is wait a little longer before getting silly on the throttle.

Let me put this in perspective. I can go get on my bike that makes at LEAST 50hp MORE at the rear tire and it wont spin in any of those gears if the tire is a little warm and straight up. Cornering, yeah that's a different story, but with an 8" over swing arm, I doubt that cornering is a priority for you anyway. Putting a wider tire on a smaller rim will pull the tire in more, giving you probably less surface area than you have with a stock tire. Get a qualifier for it, they are more of a flat profile and are quite sticky.
