I've searched through Clymer's and can't find where the temperature sending unit is on the F2... any help?

I'm thinking shifter side of the radiator on the back.

 

The Thermostat is located on the clutch side front of the radiator. My bike also needs a new one, well I think it does because the fan will not come on and it doesn't seem to be circulating the coolant. the bike will overheat if left idle for a couple of minutes after riding.
