Temp sending unit?

Where is the temp sending unit for the temp gauge? My temp gauge goes up like my tach when I rev the motor.

This is my track bike and I threw away the horn 9 years ago. If you are talking about the switch in the left front of the radiator that is the fan switch.

if your on the bike it is on your right side. The sensor is right above the radiator hose that goes to the block. It is a one wire sensor
