So I'm a pretty new rider with an f2, the last owner custom painted it, red with some layered sparkles, it hadnt been down or anything, he just wanted it to look original...but when you get up close you can see he did a pretty horrible job painting it, runs in the paint, and spots where the sparkles are uneven (the amount of sparkles)

Anyways I was wondering what color paint do you think looks best on this model..i plan on painting it mostly for the resell, so the next owner likes it a lot(upgrading to a RR next season)...but i kind of wanna get it done the right way and not do such a ****ty job as the past owner. Any ideas on costs if I paint it myself?

Go to http://www.tapeworks.com/ and take a look at some of the sticker kits they have for the F2. This may help you decide what color you want to go with. If you want to make the bike look original again they have kits that can do that.

 

I don't know if you can make your bike look like this f2 model.... but it was the stock factory black,red,silver scheme.

That still holds up today.

Only saw one on Oahu.... it was very nice.

 

I personally like the Honda wing sticker kit you can get from tapeworks. If I changed mine that would be the kit I'd get.

 

thks..yeah i was thinkin the wing def..it just depends on how much its gonna cost..just yesterday i went to the local honda dealer and one of the guy's loved it, and said "psh that paint is fine! dont even borther" so idk..i just waxed it and i kind of still like its color now, ill have to post some pics if i can figure it out..thks again
