Be careful on choosing an inline filter tho because if it is too long, it will cause your line to pinch, blocking fuel flow

problem solvved my friends... after pouring over the technical drawings over and over again and piecing somethings together i found out what the problem was. the vaccum hose from the carbs was buried down below some other hoses and some things like that. so once i found it i hooked it all up and prayed for the best. well she fired up. so i got to take it for its maiden voyage last night. it was the first time i have ever ridden this bike. i bought it without ever riding or hearing it run, but after some new plugs, fresh gas and a little body work i finally got to ride it. so if it will ever stop raining i can enjoy my new investment

take the plug wires out one at a time and shove a screwdriver into it to were it touches the metal in the plug wire and then put rest of screwdriver 1/4in or closer to the frame of your bike without actually touching the fram... try and turn over.. if you see spark from the screwdriver to the frame then you have spark... if i were you i would look into getting your carbs cleaned... there is a great diy on this forum somewere for it
