I had one on mine, the motor was fully built and we dyno'd before and after with the Power Pak,1 hp across the entire curve is what it was good for.Since mine had HRC valve springs I would sometimes use the higher rev limit,no gain to that really, power trailed off after 12,000 anyway, and that's my motor, not a stock one.
But was most disappointed in the poor quality of the connectors, the pins became loose and it would sputter whenever it would happen, ended up going back to the stock cdi.
Think I still have it somewhere in the garage.

I'm with partsguy - these were not known for reliability.

They gave a hotter spark, and advanced the ignition, which you can do with a different pulse generator. The only advantage that I would find with the PowerPak, is that I could change that level of spark advance, simply by adjusting the dip switches, but all I want is 2º, and I want that at all times anyway... you can also change the rev limit of course, but I have no interested in monkeying with that.

For me, running one isn't worth the chance of failure (especially since they're now so old!), for a result I can aquire in a fully reliable way.

Does anyone know if the instructions/suggested settings are generic for there things? I just got one for $37 shipped. As in step 1 is normal/stock, step 2 a little more, so on and so forth.

I found one for a fzr 1000 on ebay with the chart on it. Everything is the same as the 900 instructions here, so I would assume theyre the same for the F2. But if anyone knows better, chime in please. Of course it will be a while before I get to try this thing out.

Funny thing is I opened it up and it looked like someone whacked off inside of it. Whatafack! Then realized its a sealant, verified it by seeing the ones on ebay also opened. haha.
