Default Trip odometer ****

How do you take the trip odometer **** off, w/out breaking it?

There's a tiny phillips head screw that's holding the **** to the speedometer. More than likely its rusted, but with any luck and some penetrating lubricant, you should be able to back it out.

Alright, thanks. i need it off because the corner of the black plastic that surrounds the gauges is busted. Ifixed it and now I need to paint it. I took the screws out holding the gauges to the plastic but the **** is holding me up.
