I have a 1993 CBR F2 also. I have a similar noise when I first start the bike up and pull the clutch in. I believe it is because the clutch plates are not fully lubricated initially and you get that characteristic noise that sounds like something turning with loose ball-bearings. After riding the bike a ways and at stop signs, the noise on my goes away...again because the plates are now completely coated with oil and the heat expands things a bit so the play is less. I have had this on several bikes including both VFR's I have owned, a Yamaha YZF1000R and my 1996 Kawasaki GPz1100 sport-tourer. If the sound is persistent even after you have ridden the bike a ways or does not decrease....you might want to have the local dealer have a listen. Otherwise, I wouldn't worry too much and just ride it and enjoy. Safe riding.
