Well went riding for awhile hit up a few corners. Found the first straight away came to a stop. Then Took off like a bat outta hell, and it pulled up in first!!! So maybe it was the tires or maybe just me or the cold weather but it didnt spin and worked out great. So Now im not worried about it and gained tire knowledge.

If the tires actually had a coating that had to wear off, how would anybody ever take a bike with new tires to the track? I've hit a track with brand new Michelin 2CT's, no warmers, two laps to warm up the tires (that's about 5 miles) and then worn all the chicken strips off in 5 laps dragging knees and even the fairings.

Same kind of tire? Different compound? Pressure different?

Then how do YOU explain why new tires are slippery?

Every set of tires i've ever purchased have been greasy as hell... Even my dunlop slicks needed to be thoroughly scrubbed in.

The dealerships recommend the first 50-100 miles to take it easy as a precaution, anybody can scrub in a new set of tires in 15 minutes if they know what they're doing.
