is there any easy way to adjust the throtle on my bike?? the throtle snaps but has a little to much freeplat when the throtle is closed. which cable do i adjust and how, what is the purpose of 2, obviously one pulls the throtle plate open, does the other just help spring back. do i have to take the cables off to adjust the little l thing.

thanks

On the cables leading to the bar there is an adjustor -- loosen the plastic jam nut and run the adjustor out to take play out of the cable then tighten the jam nut back. It's not really a nut -- it's round but functions as a jam nut. I believe the top cable is the one you need to adjust.

After you get the slack out crank the bike in neutral and turn the bars from lock to lock -- you want the idle to remain constant. If it starts revving higher at any point then you'll need a bit more slack. Most models recommend 2mm of play at the grip.

You screw the barrel piece out to tighten and then run the jam nut up next to it to keep it there.
