Jesse, when you bolted up the f4 shock, did u just unbolt at the eyelets and use the f2 linkage?
I've done the 94 fork upgrade, racetech .95 springs for my weight, new leak-proof seals, and Bel-Ray oil.
I'd like the rear on my bike a touch taller, but not as much as the 2" most report. I have a f4 shock and linkage and I was wanting to swap the whole setup to see if it would not raise the rear as much.
Would love the twin clicker, but haven't had the spare $$$ when one popped up.

I used the F2 linkage. I then attempted to use a vortex lowering link to bring it back down. The vortex lowering link unfortunately hit the f4 shock and wouldn't allow for install. The vortex link however allows for 1-3" of lowering. Were the 3" option removed, the link could bring the bike back into a working size. If you could get something made to alter the height by 1.5", you'd be golden.

Here is a fork conversion chart to help anyone looking to do a swap.
Honda:
'91 to '98 CBR600F2/F3, '06 to '07 EX650R, '88 to '90 NT650 Hawk, '90 to '97 VFR750, '92 to '96 CBR1000, '98 to '02 VTR1000/Superhawk, and '89 to '90 CB1.
Kawasaki:
'90 to '97 ZX6/R, '06 to '08 Ninja 650R, and '88 to '90 ZX10.
Suzuki:
All GSF400/600 Bandit, '88 to '97 GSXR600/750/1100, '99 to '07 SV650, and '86 to '87 GSX750/1100.
Yamaha:
'94 to '95 YZF600, and '87 to '88 FZR750/1000.
Of those, it looks like the Suzuki forks might be your best bets for performance and tuning ability.

I fitted k4/5 600/750 forks. I used a stem from a cbr900rr pressed into the GSXR yokes. Most honda forks will bolt on, look for ones that use the same headstock bearings as the F2, you just need the yokes and the front wheel etc. (I'm almost confident enough to say all CBR600 front ends will fit, right up to the very latest.)
BUT most USD forks have the clipons below the yokes, when you do this the fairings dont fit, so i'm swapping to CBR1000RR fairings. I wouldnt fit USD forks unless you're prepared for a lot of work.
