ok so i have been working on my F2/3 streetfighter and its coming together... i pulled the dents in the tank, and painted it. nothing very good if you look up close but then again its a streetfighter. the front headlight got painted and came out beautiful. the bracket needs to be fabed but that should be easy. my solo tail should be here in a week or so. here is some pics...

paint is the dupli color mirage and the gas cap was done with their metal cast paint. it came out amazing!

there is more to come for sure. and if anyone is interested in a back up camera system i can get one at pep boys for 45 bucks cuz i'm just that good. let me know if someone wants one.

i like full farings.. but thats just my two cents... i guess its good if your a stunter?? other than that I wouldnt do that too my bike

 

well this is a lot cheaper than full fairing. expecially if you could see what i'm working with a little better.bought the bike with some cheap fog lights and a f3 tail that was held on with zip ties. so shes a project. the streetfighter theme is growing on me big time. thats my two cents

 

The mirage looks very interesting, I'm sure it looks great in the sunlight. Don't let the street fighter haters discourage you,they're just scared of how mean it looks. Can't wait to see it with the tail, will you paint that mirage too?

 

dont let the HATERS ; ) get to you. i like the streetfighter look and the full fairing look thats my 2¢. looks good did you clear coat the mirage paint? what comes with that back up camera?

 

ya the tail will be mirage too. maybe with a honda decal... now that i see the bike as a whole i wish i would have used the ICE color instead of the red/blue. but the dark color looks good against the silver frame i think.

the back up camera system has like 20 feet of wiring. and you can't shorten it much. but its easy to install. there is three wires that splice into the ignition (power), one for a ground and the other is supposed to be to the reverse light but i'm going to hook it up to the headlight or the taillight. it has inline fuses and comes with some zip ties and velcro. the mount is included but is kinda cheap looking. the monitor is plastic and is a sand color but im gonna paint mine. even a black gloss would look good. if you live near a pep boys ask about them. we carry the wired one (which i got for 45 bucks) and a wireless one but its about 100 bucks.

the one i got is a discountinued item so thats how i got it cheap. just ask about it and if they want more than 45 let me know. we have one left

 

Can I see some pics of the camera installed, once you've got it in, sounds like a veryunique mod, and for $45 well worth it, a set of mirrors isn't much cheaper
