what up J

ok here we go... i just purchased a Mini Custom Motorcycle Speedometer (search eBay for that) and installed it to my streetfighter.

for a video clip go here: http://www.sharenow.com/base/content/13790/

it attaches to your existing speedometer cable - just make sure the cable isnt pinched too much... i did that and the wire snagged inside the tube and snapped... i'll be replacing that this week haha

all in all i dig it though, cause it shows both trip mileage and total mileage and it can shift through 7 different colors. aaand its only 2.5 inches across. Wicked!

I bolted it on using the bolt that the ignition uses to connect to the triple tree. werd

btw, i have no idea whether or not its technically street legal... but i figure its better than ridin around without one!

you can also look at the koso Gp style speedometers. only issue is they will run you around 400 but will come with a lot of useful stuff such as tach, engine temp and oil. they come in several colors. the speedo has it's own sensor and the whole things attaches to the triple tree with a bracket that it comes with.
