starting problem..
Hey everybody, I just got my first bike (92 cbr) about 2 months ago, so I'm still pretty new at this...
Anyways, I decided to change the oil on the bike yesterday and wash it today. It started and ran fine after I changed the oil yesterday. When I tried to start it up after washing it today, though, the bike started, had some trouble by moving up and down RPMs, and then died after about 5-7 seconds. Since then, I've barely been able to get it to start - it'll turn over, but won't catch the engine. The few times it has caught and started up, it'll do the same thing as the first time- seem to struggle, and then die.
Like I said, I'm really new to this... The only things that I can think that changed was (1) me changing the oil (I think I put a little over 3.5 liters, so maybe because I filled it too much it's having problems??). Or, could my washing it have gotten water in the spark plugs or something and messed it up?
I don't even know if either of those things could cause this kind of problem, but if any of you have any suggestions on where I should start in trying to fix this, the advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks for all of your time. Take care.

RE: starting problem..
Noob here, but i suspect that water has f'ed up some electrical aspect of the bike.
Might sound stupid... but let the bike sit for 2-3days and 'dry off'. I remember when a friend of mine washed his engine bay and his car wouldn't start, left it for a few days and it went right back to normal.
