Standard leavers v shorties
as you will see from my other posts, I only recently got this bike and I am tidying it up a bit, the standard leavers have seen better days,im thinking of getting some shorties off ebay, has anyone had any and do they make any difference to your riding,
Beware of cheap eBay levers. Some are alright, but some will have fitment issues with the master cylinder.
As far as shorter levers go, it's a personal choice. While many people seem to really like them, I don't. They don't fit my hands right so I end up with a finger uncomfortably on the end **** or pinching them. On the clutch side, i like the longer leverage for an easier pull, which is nice after a long ride. For the brake side, I have changed to braking with my middle and ring fingers only for trailbraking and better throttle control so a short lever wouldn't work even if it fit my hands.

Thanks 74 Demon, I might see if I can get standard levers, i also ordered a retaining pin for the clutch Keverne as its loose, someone has just put a nut and bokt in, the only one I could get is actually for a cbr 1000, but i think it might fit,
yes you are right, someone has just put a small screw in with a nut on,i think the genuine one is tapered
What did you end up getting??? I want new levers (complete with perches and master cylinder) so bad for my bike. I'm terrified of getting the Ebay ones. But the only other levers I can find are 800-1100$!
I got this bike for 800, I cant spend that on levers.

CRG are decent lever. Can get a set of them for $200. That just the levers though.
For master and perches, yeah you are going to be looking at a lot more.
personally, if it's an $800 bike, just stick with the stock one.
Spend money on tire, oil, chains and gas and just go ride.
