Hi, my speedometer has just died, the cable seems tight n secure at both ends ?

Any ideas ?

Remove the end at the wheel and check to make sure the inside cable hasn't snapped or stripped out. Also spin the wheel and look where the cable attaches, you should see the piece inside move.

Have you had your front wheel off recently? If so, maybe you buggered something up. And yeh, what Phil314 said, If you dont see a little thingy turning when you spin the wheel with the cable remove at the wheel, the nylon/plastic gear thing inside the wheel spacer thingy is probably stripped. If you do see that thing turn, hook the cable back up at the wheel and undo it at the speedometer, look inside the end of that end and spin the wheel, you should see something in the end of the cable turning. If not, cable is bad.
