Hi all was hoping someone could help me. Bought my cbr September last year for a job I was intending on taking but didnt bother in end so bike has been stood since then. Ive had the engine out to drill out the notorious exhaust studs cleaned/rebuilt/synchronised carbs. New oil ect but not new plugs. It was running ok then then battery died so hasnt beem started at all for last 2-3 months. Got new battery amd fresh fuel but refusing to fire took plug out to check spark put it against the head but the spark is going straight to the body of the plug.. is this normal? I'm unsure of age of plugs amd haven't got the money for them at moment.
