Default RE: So should I swap in the 900 motor

I got a project bike from a buddy of mine that has a 900cc engine in the F2 frame, can take a couple of pics of it for you. It has a decent size radiator with what looks like a 6 inch fan on it. I have had it running in the garage for 20 minutes and it didn't overheat with just the radiator fan running. I have no fairings for the bike yet, so not sure how they fit on it with the fan the way it is? I just have a couple of about 1 inch spacers to move the bottom of the radiator forward towards the wheel by about an inch. Seems like everything will fit okay if I can get it to run.

Biggest problem I am having is that the bike sat for quite some time without being used so has lots of little electrical glitches. Person that swapped the engine in did a poor job of splicing the wiring harnesses.

Also it won't run for more than about 15-20 minutes. Not sure if the plug boots are bad and quit working when it is hot, but the bike won't run after it is warmed up good. Runs great cold and even warm, but when it has been running for about 15 minutes it just bogs down and dies?

Anyway I will shoot a few pics of the rad setup and put em up for you.
Thanks
Tim
